Golf in Texarkana

Texarkana is a bi-state metropolitan area straddling the Texas-Arkansas border in Bowie County, with the state line running precisely down the center of the four lanes of State Line Avenue. The community has a distinct identity as a border city with shared commerce and culture between the two states, and the unique Texarkana Post Office straddles the state line, making it the only federal building that physically exists in two states. The Red River drainage and the extensive forests of this part of the Ark-La-Tex region surround the community. Texarkana is approximately 180 miles northeast of Dallas and has traditionally been an industrial and railroad junction city. Two courses serve the Texarkana Texas community in the forested terrain of the Red River valley near the Arkansas border.
