Golf in Desert View Highlands

Desert View Highlands is a small unincorporated community in Los Angeles County in the Antelope Valley, north of Palmdale in the Mojave Desert. The community occupies elevated desert terrain above the main Antelope Valley floor, at a somewhat higher elevation than the main valley cities. Los Angeles County's Antelope Valley communities, including Desert View Highlands, are in the high desert zone separated from the main urban areas by the San Gabriel and Tehachapi mountains. The community has very limited commercial services and is primarily residential. State Route 14 is accessible to the west, connecting the Antelope Valley to the main Los Angeles freeway network. The surrounding terrain is Mojave Desert at a moderate elevation with high desert vegetation.
