Golf in Lawndale

Lawndale is a small city in Los Angeles County in the South Bay, between Hawthorne and Inglewood along the 405 Freeway corridor. The city occupies flat urban terrain in the southwestern Los Angeles Basin, in the dense residential zone between the airport and the coastal communities. Los Angeles County's South Bay communities, including Lawndale and Hawthorne, are in the residential corridor between LAX and the coastal cities to the west. The city is primarily residential with commercial development along Hawthorne Boulevard and Artesia Boulevard. Interstate 405 provides freeway access. The city has a diverse population consistent with the multicultural character of the South Bay communities. Nearby Los Angeles International Airport and related employment centers provide jobs for residents.
