Golf in El Segundo

El Segundo is a small city in Los Angeles County adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport in the South Bay. The city has a substantial aerospace and technology employment base, including Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, and other defense and technology companies that occupy campuses adjacent to the airport. Los Angeles County's South Bay communities include El Segundo as a primarily industrial and commercial community with a small residential population. A petroleum refinery is a significant industrial operation in the city. Imperial Avenue provides the main commercial corridor, and Aviation Boulevard runs along the eastern edge adjacent to LAX. Interstate 405 provides freeway access. The city has a tight-knit residential neighborhood in the downtown area despite its industrial surroundings.
