Golf in Wilmington

Wilmington is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles adjacent to the Port of Los Angeles, in the harbor area of the city. The neighborhood occupies the industrial and residential land between the port and the Dominguez Hills to the north, in the flat terrain of the southern Los Angeles Basin. Los Angeles's harbor-adjacent neighborhoods, including Wilmington and San Pedro, are oriented around port operations and the related logistics and industrial economy. The neighborhood has been associated with oil refining and the petroleum industry for generations. Avalon Boulevard provides the main commercial corridor. The port access roads and the 110 Freeway (Interstate 110) provide the main highway access. The neighborhood has a predominantly Hispanic population with a long-standing community tied to the maritime and industrial economy.
