Golf in Palos Verdes Estates

Palos Verdes Estates is a city in Los Angeles County on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, south of Torrance with the Pacific Ocean on its western side. The city occupies the northwestern portion of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, a raised coastal mesa surrounded by steep coastal cliffs. Los Angeles County's Palos Verdes Peninsula cities, including Palos Verdes Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes, are among the most affluent communities in the county. The city is primarily residential with a small commercial area at Malaga Cove. The Palos Verdes Drive coastal road provides access around the peninsula and connects to Torrance and San Pedro. The peninsula's elevated position provides a natural contrast to the flat Los Angeles Basin surrounding it.
