Golf in Mill Valley

Mill Valley is an incorporated city in Marin County at the base of Mount Tamalpais, north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate. The city occupies a narrow valley between wooded ridges in the southeastern corner of Marin County, with the terrain rising from the flat valley floor to the slopes of the mountain above. Marin County's southern communities sit within commuting range of San Francisco via US Highway 101 and the Golden Gate Bridge. Mill Valley has a compact downtown centered on a town square, with residential development extending up the canyon walls on both sides of the valley. The Tamalpais watershed immediately above the city is protected open space with extensive trail networks. Mill Valley has one of the higher median housing values in Marin County, reflecting demand for its combination of natural surroundings and proximity to San Francisco.
