Golf in San Pedro

San Pedro is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles, forming the harbor area of the city and the eastern portion of the San Pedro Bay port complex. The neighborhood is home to the Port of Los Angeles, one of the busiest ports in the country, providing the gateway for significant amounts of international container cargo. Los Angeles's harbor-adjacent neighborhoods, including San Pedro and Wilmington, are oriented around port operations and related industrial activity. The neighborhood has a main commercial street on Sixth Street and a harbor-front area that has been developed for public access. Fort MacArthur is a former military installation now partly a park. The Vincent Thomas Bridge connects San Pedro to Terminal Island and Long Beach.
